Eric advises global corporates, medical practices and doctor-founders, multi-generational businesses, venture funds and high-growth companies on complex transactional, commercial and regulatory matters. He has particular experience in healthcare and medical M&A, alongside significant sector expertise across life sciences and healthcare, consumer and retail, food and beverage, and technology.

He regularly acts on cross-border transactions and high-stakes negotiations, including acquisitions, disposals and investments involving medical practices and healthcare businesses. He also advises boards and senior management on end-to-end mandates spanning pre-acquisition structuring, legal due diligence, transaction execution, post-merger integration, corporate turnarounds, and complex group and organisational restructurings requiring a high degree of sensitivity and commercial judgment. His approach combines practical, efficient and multi-dimensional solutions with a strong focus on managing legal and regulatory risk.

Eric also advises on sensitive employment and regulatory matters, including investigations, dismissals for cause, discrimination allegations, restrictive covenants and ESOP-related issues. His practice further covers the legal and commercial implications of cybersecurity, data protection and privacy, including data breach management and risk mitigation, as well as anti-bribery and anti-corruption compliance across business operations.

He has advised global clients on establishing and expanding their Singapore operations and regularly provides in-depth legal support to cross-functional teams. In the venture capital space, he has advised high-growth companies, including unicorns and leading emerging companies, on fundraising rounds and related strategic matters.

On the regulatory side, Eric has advised on cutting-edge matters involving complex regulatory and commercial considerations, including the structuring of a pioneering healthcare group at the intersection of preventive medicine, AI and wellness.

Eric was recognised by Asian Legal Business as one of Asia’s 40 Under 40 Lawyers in 2025 and as a Rising Star in 2026.

Before founding Elix Law, Eric practised at CMS Holborn Asia and Stephenson Harwood (Singapore) Alliance. He holds a Juris Doctor from Singapore Management University and a B.A. (Hons) in Linguistics and Multilingual Studies from Nanyang Technological University.
